For this super bowl party we have two pairing, each inspired by the teams.
Kansas City Chiefs
Our party bite for the Chiefs is inspired by Kansas City BBQ. They are well known for their BBQ sauce that is sweet and tangy. We are going to slow cook some pulled pork in our homemade BBQ sauce. Then put that on top of a sweet biscuit with some pimento cheese.

To pair with this sweet biscuit sandwich, we are going to make a savory bloody mary. The worcestershire sauce will make the pair really nicely with the pulled pork.

San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco is known for their sour dough bread. So we are going to use that in today’s bite. We are going to toast off some thick slices (about an inch thick) in the oven. Then we are going to make our own hummus, because there is nothing like fresh hummus. We’ll put the hummus on the bread, topped with a little smoked paprika for a nice presentation for your party.

For the 49ers we going to do a take on a zesty bloody mary. This will pair nicely with the hummus we made.
